For Graphic Design IV we have to come up with a fashion line name, logo, website, magazine ad, and 5 different outfits that all tie into the identity of our company. I wanted to call my fashion line "Sadie." I am basing the name off of the Beatles song "Sexy Sadie." This fashion line will be for upper-class, sexy, single, working, women.
I've asked some of my aunts to take a look at my sketches and fabric swatches to make sure I was on the right track. I will post my fashion illustrations as I complete them.
Here is the logo I'm working on.

Does that logo say upper-class, sexy, single, working, women?
The font is totally right! The message is all over it. The green leaves behind could work great. I think just need to see how they are incorporated into the over-all brand. Looking good so far missy!
ReplyDeleteDo you still want me for photographs at some point? Just let me know when. :-)
See you Friday.
Thanks Maddie! Yes I'd love to use you for photograhs! It won't be until next week or early the following week. I think it will happen on a Monday or Wednesday. If you have to work, don't worry about it. I'll keep you posted though :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully we'll see you Friday, we still don't have the keys to the house, so move in date may get pushed back :(

ReplyDeletei Like your logo Amy!
ReplyDeleteMay I suggest...
When it comes to logos, you have to be aware of where they are going to be printed or how they will be displayed. You mentioned it is a clothing line, so assuming this is for real, they will take some form of embroidery on your cloths right?... Perhaps some kind of cloth decal?
Having said that, you may want to try different one-color versions of your logo, that way it will always be legible. =)
